Today I turned 18. Frak.

I can remember thinking this day was so impossibly far off in the future, it was basically never going to come.

Question for those 36 and older: how much faster do the next 18 years, from 18 to 36, go by than the first 18?

Heh, I'll be enjoying my turning-adult crisis on the 26th of October. I can't wait.

Wow, you're only 18? I thought you were closer to your early/mid-20's. I guess that makes me just a few months older than you, then!

i'm 26. older you get the faster time goes. years feel like months now-a-days. and months fly by. savor every second because before you know it your life will be half way over and you'll reflect back on all the things you accomplished and didn't accomplish. wait till you hit the work force. that is when time really starts to pick up.

Failed a driving test. Ugh.

Bad enough that I'm not getting around to this until I'm nearly 22, worse finding out that apparently the only thing I can do consistently well is left turns and going in reverse.

I never believed this when I was younger and dying to turn 18, but its so damn true.

I'm coming up on my 25th birthday (October 28) and I'm just thinking, where the hell did the last five years go?

My third wedding anniversary is November 22. When did that happen?

Every once in a while I suddenly realize that the 90s was not the last decade, it was the one before that!

And I still can't believe that 2011 is already almost over.

Think about this, I'm not even 25 and I'm already wondering where all the time went.

Time goes by slow when you're not doing anything or you're bored a lot. If you're so worried about being "old" then you're not out there actually living life. Time flies when you're having fun. :D
The only age I ever cared about was 16 (drivers license). After 16, nothing was a big deal age-wise. The only thing that sneaked up on me was my 30th and even that didn't bother me until 3 days before it.

Well, you do seem more mature than him, as I thought you were closer to your early/mid-20's, no offense Boring.

Sounds like my cousin, though she lives in NYC and only drives once a month or so (she got her license at 25).
Left turns and reverse, well that's 1/2 way there. Gotta get your rights and forwarding down and you'll be fine. ;)
