But it looks like same old DOA from the video.
I'm of the complete opposite mindset; with the absence of Itagaki an' his arrogance/ignorance I have hope the game will actually see improvements. So far, though, doesn't look like anything's changed.

Looks like a step up from DOA4. That's all I'm saying right now

I could see the interest some may have, but I don't think this series really gets played much these days :?

With the current roster of fighting games they're going to have to really step it up if they want DoA to compete.

DOA has always been fun to look at. Kind of fun to play with casual friends. Maybe with that arrogant bastard out of the way the fighting system will get cool.

Still though, I love all of the action in the background, and the way Hayabusa bounced back in from the stage damage, and the ledge hanging at the end...

It all looks very dynamic.
One of the best reasons to like DoA! (The other being the easy on... e-touch counter button.)

The cliffhanger ending kinda makes me wish the stages are so involving to the point where you can fight atop the I-beam (which is what the clip was sorta alluding to before the video feed was cut). Kinda like the sinking stages of Soul Calibur or the curved stages of Killer Instinct, how do you deal with an opponent on a different plane?
