Strangest thing you've seen while on the freeway?

I've seen a giant ladder right in the middle of the freeway. Also, there was a girl driving and next to her was a giant inflatable male wang.......I was thinking she was a porn star or something.

I once flagged down some people who were driving a beat up late 70s econobox that had some small flames coming out of the bottom of the engine. Just a small one that was easy to see flickering under there as we drove down the freeway that evening.

I know it's one of the explanations that makes most sense, but I'm asking why would one hope it is that explanation? Ya' know, like why would one explanation be preferred over another in this situation?

I had a dear come running from the side of a raised expressway (in a considerably populated suburban area but with many high office buildings) and headbutt the car behind me nearly off the road after wishing they would stop tailgating me. I did make sure the person was alright, which she luckily was considering it looked like a really forceful hit.

I saw a horrific accident involving a flipped-over semi-trailer and a couple cars. Ambulance seemed to just be arriving on scene.

... not sure if that counts as "strangest" but if "strange" means "not normal" then, yeah, it was definitely not a normal thing I always see driving down the freeway...
