so I really like the album BTW. I think "Why I Love You" is my favorite track.OldSchool_Boy wrote:Otis by Kanye West and Jay-Z. That's just ridiculous money if you buy a Maybach and turn it into that.

Vol 2 was REALLY good. Wow. Yeah. Flex had a string of good mixes back then.alexis524 wrote:funkmaster flex vol 2 track 27. BCC went HAM before there was HAM
BCC rules by the way. Or at least ruled. Still love Sean Price / Heltah Skeltah though.

I picked it up at best buy awhile ago since it was either Watch The Throne or Ferrari Boys[Waka Flocka Flame+Gucci Mane] album at the time. "Why I Love You" is probably the best song on the original tracklist but on the deluxe version I like "Illest MotherF**ker Alive" and "H*A*M". Those Opera samples are just great to hear.noiseredux wrote:so I really like the album BTW. I think "Why I Love You" is my favorite track.OldSchool_Boy wrote:Otis by Kanye West and Jay-Z. Boot Camp Clik is still in full effect (sort of). Smif-N-Wessun recently released Monumental with Pete Rock handling all the production. Supposedly a new Heltah Skeltah album is going to happen as well as the release of Mic Tyson but thats still unconfirmed. Buckshot is coming out with The Solution with 9th Wonder. OGC is about dead when it comes to making another album.noiseredux wrote:Vol 2 was REALLY good. Wow. Yeah. Flex had a string of good mixes back then.alexis524 wrote:funkmaster flex vol 2 track 27. yeah I'm a little burnt out on Gucci lately. And I'm not really into Waka.OldSchool_Boy wrote: I picked it up at best buy awhile ago since it was either Watch The Throne or Ferrari Boys[Waka Flocka Flame+Gucci Mane] album at the time. I have the deluxe Watch The Throne as well. "Illest" is fantastic.
When I said "BCC ruled," I meant that for the most part I don't find what they're doing now all that relevant to me anymore. Other than Sean P. I'd rather just listen to old Black Moon, Smif N Wessun or OGC than hear much new output.

But the new Smif N Wessun album is right next to Dah Shinin. Roses is such a great track.noiseredux wrote: Other than Sean P. I'd rather just listen to old Black Moon, Smif N Wessun or OGC than hear much new output.

Re: What are you listening to at the present?
I went searching through some oldschool techno/hip-hop from like the late 70's and early 80's ala Cybotron and T LA Rock and I stumbled across this neat little beat:
Davy DMX - One for the Treble http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xUNJj23XZA
Apparently this song was used in GTA Vice City as well, so it's somewhat video game related as well I guess.
