Combo. It'll look and play better.
It won't really cost much different either considering how much Ico seems to fetch still.

I'd say combo. You're not going to run into issues such as the music or sound being different like you can when an old 16-bit game gets rereleased on a new system, so the experience will be equal or better.

Another vote for combo. I've tried SotC on a BC PS3 on an HDTV, and it didn't look all too great. It still looked nice, but the jaggies were so noticable, and for some odd reason, it didn't feel right either, like there was some half second delay for inputs or something.

Its Always good to have the original as well I wonder if anything might be left off that remake? It seems all the Euro features should be included in the HD remake, but not positive until it comes out. Maybe get a PS2 and install the Euro PS2 ICO version to the hard drive. No conversion needed, it supports both PAL 50hz and NTSC 60hz. Good to have the classic and play right off the hard drive.
Just got my copy. I just had to open it in the store so I could flip the cover man is that some ugly shit. Hassle to get my pre order though gamestop sucks. Had to go home and get the receipt since I pre ordered it through my brothers power up rewards. I guess having the same last name isn't good enough to prove it was mine then when I went back with the receipt it was a different girl working and she didn't even look at it.
Just got my copy today, and it was probably one of my best experiences at gamestop. I didn't know the cashier, but he seemed to know my friend, and he was a really cool guy. We were talking about all these other HD remixes and such, but anyway.
flex wood, you didn't like the cover? I thought it looked really nice.
