Hate the control scheme with a vengeance. That's why I could never get into this series, including parasite eve and resident evil. :?

I swear one of these days I'll play these two. You'd think I'd have been all over them since I love RE controls. Also I recommend the DC version. It's much better than the PS1 version, but unfortunately Dino Crisis 2 didn't come to DC.

I'm tempted to try the third one just because it combines two of the coolest things ever: dinosaurs and outer space. It's just so ridiculous, it's got to be good.

LOVE Dino Crisis, though it's hard to say how well it stands the test of time as I haven't played it in ages. It had this great diverging story where you could make choices at some parts of the game, which also changed the gameplay experience. I love that the environments were not static like the RE games. Dinosaurs make for more intimidating, faster and just plain cooler enemies than zombies too. The game had some great moments and a number of cool tweaks on the RE formula.

DC 2 is fantastic as well, but it is a completely different animal. Not a survival horror game at all, but more action oriented. Kind of a precursor to what they'd do with RE 4. Although DC 2 has much more action than RE 4.

DC 1 and 2 were just as polished and inspired as the best games in the RE series, but had their own distinct identity by playing with RE formula a bit.

just got it for DC in mail, its great, much more moody IMO over RE. Lots of fun, but can be hard, im glad they made use of the VMU.

Get a clip on book light! Another sweet DC acceseory! eh..the controller only weighs 5 pounds with you're rumble pack, vmu, book light clip and rubberized cusion grip. hehe

Oh, and dino crisis is fun on PS1 but looks really dated now with it's jagged polys. DC version is much nicer looking! I think they palyed about the same from what I remember.

I loved Dino Crisis one and two. They're awesome. I liked the 2nd one more though because it was more action orientated.
