Vampires beat Zombies in a close fight, I didn't like the fact they made Zombies more "human" and made vampires super human because I clearly think of super zombies as well as Nemesis.

I like watching Deadliest Warrior, I watched that episode because it was fun. but nothing beats the joke about a vampire playing soccer and when he has the kick of the night and he does the sign of the cross, he burns up and dies lol.OldSchool_Boy wrote:I can't believe you actually watched thatAdamGomez1987 wrote:Vampires beat Zombies in a close fight, I didn't like the fact they made Zombies more "human" and made vampires super human because I clearly think of super zombies as well as Nemesis.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I just read an interesting article in the Boston Globe about a guy who "ahem" donated his specimen to a bank and has at least 70 offspring. Apparently he did it while in law school to make extra money.
He's also going to be part of an upcoming reality show on Style where he meets a couple of his offspring for the first time.
His fiancee was not too happy about his past.
No, I have never donated except money/blood. I do think the donation gives many families the ability to have kids when they could not before.
Changing the subject, if you're a football fan, you won't want to miss seeing Bill Belichick - A Football life on NFL Network tonight. I'm looking forward to watching part 1 tonight and part 2 next week. He was the first coach to be mic'ed for the entire football season.

One consequence that I never thought of is the possibility that two people meet/date/marry without realizing that they're from the same donor.“What if they all come knocking?’’ she asks Seisler, angrily. “I kind of deem it selfish. Did you think of the consequences that would come out of this?’’

If you like the show then thats cool but it just seems too goofy to be watchable.AdamGomez1987 wrote:I like watching Deadliest Warrior, I watched that episode because it was fun. but nothing beats the joke about a vampire playing soccer and when he has the kick of the night and he does the sign of the cross, he burns up and dies lol.OldSchool_Boy wrote:I can't believe you actually watched thatAdamGomez1987 wrote:Vampires beat Zombies in a close fight, I didn't like the fact they made Zombies more "human" and made vampires super human because I clearly think of super zombies as well as Nemesis.

I think deep down I still haven't let go of the 16 bit console wars.
I love my snes, I've always loved Nintendo, and I never actually hated the snes back in the day or anything like that. Hell, my friend and I used to trade our Genesis and Snes for a week or two at a time, just to change things up.
But to this day, if I hear someone put down the Genesis in any way compared to the Snes, even if its justified, there's a small part of me that immediately thinks: "Man, fuck the Snes!".
It seems I have weird, unresolved gamer issues.

Yeah amongst most of my friends, we were SNES gamers. The few friends that were in the Genesis camp were definitely hardcore Genesis with the Nintendon't smack and what not. My fellow SNES gamers were too busy playing games to worry about a "war" and just have fun playing games.CFFJR wrote:I think deep down I still haven't let go of the 16 bit console wars.

Although when my Genesis- worshiping friend finally got SF2:CE* he was talking so much smack despite the SNES having the game for well over a year IIRC, I had to retort with, "You're right, SF2: Laryngitis Edition is great!" Lame I know but in middle school it sure sounded cool.

I have always been in an odd situation where I am a near-blatant Nintendo fanboy, had the consoles NES-SNES-N64-Gamecube-Wii...D.D.D. wrote:Yeah amongst most of my friends, we were SNES gamers. ... but had a Sega Genesis, too. Because I really liked some of the games I had for it.
Made it awkward sometimes when a Nintendo fan would bash the Genesis and I'd be like "Well, actually..."

I don't know, the SNES has never really been my thing, even though there are some awesome games on it. I love my Genesis though.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I don't know why, but the PlayStation era was my favorite, I don't know if it was the clunky voice acting from jrpg's or getting Sega Saturn import games and having the childhood I always wanted and never had along with the Dreamcast, I love the cases, love the colorful graphics. The 16-32bit era with Sega and Nintendo was a very fun era but It started with The Sega CD for me and when 2D games were on a CD doing that, I was in total awe.
What's really funny is that my family never wanted me to get involved with the PS1 as a child and so they were doing things like staying with the N64 and that because cartridges were safer than discs which makes no sense now that I look back because I owned a Sega CD which was like 4 years before the N64 ever came out lol.
