Other than the odd level design compared to every other 2d sonic game, it's excellent. Especially the time travel mechanic

I sure did enjoy the game. It sets itself apart from the other 2D games, having some different aspects to the level design, includes an optional time travel ability, and different direction of the music suits the game well. Probably my second favourite Sonic game, after Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

I was never able to enjoy it no matter how many times I tried. It couldn't compare to the Genesis Sonics.

To me, best sonic game ever in existance. Great music, gameplay, graphics, nice intro and ending(sonic boom, lmao...yus!) The best game for sega cd.

Totally agree. My initial contact with all the sonic games on the PC, and that was the stinky one I never played. It just seemed too big and whole time travel thing really just kindof sucked. I loved the UFO game though, best emerald game IMO.

Loved this game, one of my personal favorite games ever actually. I really liked the music and the whole time travel thing, and the size.
