You know, I've been trying to train myself out of it for a while but, I'm actually finding it pretty difficult.

lost 10 pounds, I'm 6'3 221 pounds, I was all the way up to 240 a while back but my weight keeps flucuating.

Ate two veggie burgers today at Burger King and that was my meal for today.

I know it's not like you did it for me (obviously), but thanks for choosing the BK Veggie. I'm a vegan for animal welfare and rights reasons, so I think it's cool when people give alternative burger options a go. Even though it's not vegan I still eat it sometimes to support such a mainstream and important veggie option.

Heh, I don't know. Let's just say that over the years I'm surprised I haven't been booted from this community. I was only going to have it for a day but I haven't gotten to changing it. Luckily I've gotten my head on straight.

It actually differs depending on what manual of style you consult. However, "Cs" will always be correct, while "C's" may or may not be a merely acceptable alternative depending on what school of style you favor. "Cs" is safer, so it's probably better to use that.

You wouldn't like the VK Veggie then because that has egg in it which is something vegans are against, but there are days I go vegetarian as I believe it's good to have that type of discipline when you can tell yourself I'm not going to eat meat on certain days.

Well, just trying to keep myself disciplined, every time I look at all the people around the mall, college, so many big people and I used to be one of them and they just remind me that they are one of many that is just a statistic of obesity.

just out of curiosity and for my benefit, why do you need an apostrophe? there is no ownership going on. i am just making C plural.

An apostrophe does not make something plural, it indicates possession or a contraction. It is irritating seeing things everywhere where people put 's for plurals.

I feel that sometimes supporting a dedicated vegetarian option does more good for my cause than avoiding it altogether for a small amount of egg. That way when I email Burger King encouraging them to veganize their veggie burger I am doing so as a paying customer.

As a vegan I am always having to try to balance principle with reason, and at times the most principled decision is not the best one. When I visit home and my mother makes non-vegan cookies I will usually eat one. I could easily turn it down, but I know her cookies mean a ton to her and that eating one makes her happy. By doing this I make her more comfortable with veganism, which further contributes to our mainstream acceptance.

I agree that having self-discipline is a very good thing. I love the control I have developed over the past few years. It is very empowering.

I don't think that's possible since it's one of the ingredients (binding agent?) inside it.
