Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I think I'm gonna have to hang on to this one lol I've been trying to get my hands on one at an affordable price for a while now too. I will trade my extra loose cart I have thoughsbk wrote:
I want that FF3 CIB so bad. I've had no luck on getting one without paying upwards of 100 bucks. Wanna trade it?
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I can't blame you. I've got a copy with the manual and map. I just need a box really. I do find it funny that I have gotten Chronotrigger CIB before FF3.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days - $9 from EB Games
They had the preowned version of the game advertised for $8 during there sale, however I went to multiple stores and had no luck, went back to my local (not looking for it) and they had it, however EB had bumped the game up to $15 (which is the same price as the New copy during the sale), I asked the guy what is the point, he sold it to me for $9. Its in great condition and complete.
Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII - $6.25 inc postage from eBay
Really happy with this, I was bidding on Dissidia and put a $10 max bid, noticed they had Crisis Core with 1 bid at $1.00, so I bid $2 and got it for $1.25 (+$5 postage). Love when this happens on eBay.
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Did pretty well in the last couple days, started with getting OOT and Conkers BFD (n64) for 5 bucks each.
Then yesterday got sonic 3d blast (saturn complete) for $3
Today was pretty good, it started with a large lot showing up on craigslist, it has some potential to add to the collection plus be a money maker, but she wanted a bit too much for it. I asked if she would split it and said I only wanted the Gameboy games and this is what i got:
Mega Man (original gameboy)
Donkey Kong ("" "")
Pokemon blue, yellow and fire red (GBA)
Metroid fusion and zero mission both CIB in great shape
Glacier GBA missing the battery cover (making this my 4th one, i swear these things find me)
Then on the way home i stopped into goodwill and got a GC wave bird (missing receiver) and GC mic for $3
Pretty good, its been a while since i got any finds to it felt good.

Re: What Your Coolest eBay Gaming Purchase?
Let's bring this thread back to life
Besides my recent [near] complete in box Famicom score ($70 shipped; another seller had one listed for $150), I just purchased a nice, boxed Famicom Batman for $17 shipped. I was shooting the seller some Best Offers for a complete version (original asking price $26 shipped), but ultimately couldn't get a deal - so I went with the version without a manual. Funny thing is, the seller bumped up the price on the complete version to a total of $34. I could do without the manual, figured I'd print out a nice little pamphlet

Doesn't that just look AWESOME?!

Re: What Your Coolest eBay Gaming Purchase?
A brand new Japanese Sega Saturn, a used N64 "CIB", PS1 "CIB" and bunch of PS1 and N64 games complete for $170.
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
This was back on Monday but I've been busy installing and reinstalling win7 on my pc.
At the local play n' trade, mentioned I should have taken up his deal on the boxed GBA games. He kind of thinks about and says, do you want this? Brings up this HUGE cd book full of discs. Says it was donated and I could have it. He took one PC game out of it and gave me the rest. While nothing was particularly rare there was a good amount of PC games which I have little to no interest in. Most with serial numbers, a complete copy of XP Home w/serial and a big stack of Xbox games and a few PS1/PS2 games. Not bad for the price of $0
The complete list is as follows:
PC:
Starcraft 1 w/ expansion
Warcraft 3
Leisure suit Larry - Magna Cum Laude
Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps
Age of Mythology
Skateboard Park Tycoon
Sim City 3000
Doom 3
Ski Resort Tycoon
Lineage II
The Sims Deluxe Edition
The Sims Online
Command & Conquer Generals
Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour
Xbox:
Dead or Alive 3 -Platnum Hits
Freedom Fighters
Mafia
Enter the Matrix
Kill Switch
Xmen - Next Dimension
Splinter Cell
Rally Sport Challange - Platnum Hits
Ghost Recon
Grand Theft Auto 3
Grand Theft Auto Vice City
Soldier of Fortune II Double Helix
Soul Calibur II
Need for Speed Underground
V-Rally 3
True Crime
Halo 1
XIII
JSRF / Sega GT Combo Disc
Max Payne 2
Rainbow Six 3
Splinter Cell - Pandora Tomorrow
Amped
Amped 2
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Full Spectrum Warrior
Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball
Dead to Rights
PS1:
Tomb Raider
Test Drive 5
Twisted Metal III
Metal Gear Solid (Disc 2)
Army Men 3D
Frogger
Road Rash 3D
PS2:
Metal of Honor Frontline
Grand Theft Auto III
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
Oh and Alice in Chain's self titled album for good measure.
I think I'm about stocked up to open a store. Jeez.
