Playstation 3DTV Display
I'm wondering if anybody is planning on picking one up? I'm considering getting it for my office/bedroom until I get my new 55" Samsung 3D LED HDTV for my gaming room. It's a small screen but the entry price isn't too bad plus I can play my games in 3D such as upcoming titles like Uncharted 3.

Even better, the new split view feature where you can play local 2 player and not have to share the screen real estate.Dakinggamer87 wrote:I'm wondering if anybody is planning on picking one up? Yeah I saw that in a preview for the TV and thought that was awesome. You guys think it is worth the $500 price tag? Its only going to be 24-inch , but would be cool for my bedroom while my 46-inch HDTV is in the basement.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Even better, the new split view feature where you can play local 2 player and not have to share the screen real estate.Dakinggamer87 wrote:I'm wondering if anybody is planning on picking one up? Re: Playstation 3DTV Display
I will be getting one for my dorm; it's a really good price for a 3D TV, especially since it comes with a game and has that neat split-screen function.
Re: Playstation 3DTV Display
I've considered getting one for my office/computer room. Currently I have two 24" monitors with a PS3 hooked to one of them that I tend to play games on more often than the one in my living room. As that TV is actually cheaper than the monitors I have, it'd be a decent choice for a third screen, albeit 16:9 with limited inputs.

I just looked that up on Youtube and it looks like a very cool idea.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Even better, the new split view feature where you can play local 2 player and not have to share the screen real estate.Dakinggamer87 wrote:I'm wondering if anybody is planning on picking one up? It has an actual practical application as well - (arguably) unlike 3D!

Re: Playstation 3DTV Display
I currently have two LED HD monitors (22", 24") in my office/bedroom so I may need to get a larger desk to fit another display.
The entry price and overall value isn't too bad overall. It's the cheapest way to experience 3D gaming

You sure about that? I'm pretty sure the 3DS is cheaper. So is a a pair of shutter glasses. The absolute cheapest way would be a pair of cardboard red/blue glasses and the nVidia stereo drivers.

Re: Playstation 3DTV Display
So does this thing have a PS3 built in or is the pack in game just a gimmick to try to sell the TV? Can someone explain the 3D tech talk in the article to me?
