Yeah, we were talking about this in the Persona general gaming thread. This collaboration is seriously amazing, and it looks like Arcsys nailed P4's style with the HUD and art. I say if anyone is to be trusted with a fighting game, it's Arc.
This has to be the most unexpected videogame announcement of 2011. Not in a million years would i have expected a canonical oficial persona 4 fighting game. I didn't expect it to be multiplattform either. Knowing who are the developers, it's expected to be more than a decent fighting game. I can tell you right now it's going to dissapoint some fans though, because despite being a persona 4 spin off people take it like a Shin Megami Tensei battle arena, which it is not.
I don't expect a lot of characters from persona 3, specially considering the fact that the roster seems a little limited at this point. I won't expect Persona 2 characters at all, neither character from shin megami tensei, devil summoner or any other SMT subseries or a black frost playable character. It's a persona 4 fighting game. You probably knew already, but a LOT of people over the net are getting overhyped about this game.
I was hoping that wasn't the case. But the games not done yet, so I'm sure they'll add more characters as the months pass by. Hopefully, it's got a bigger roster than Blazblue. I mean, Blazblue's a good series, and I enjoyed it for a time and all, but I grew tired of it pretty quickly.

Wow; that looks gorgeous! I love how there is no trace of slowdown anywhere; everything is fluid, fast, and at a rock-solid framerate. That's how a fighting game should run.
