I don't think I have that one for Game Gear, but I'll double check and if so I'll try it out.

i have it and its just like the genesis game but with shorter levels and lesser graphics and sound.

I love the Genesis version and bought it for the wii console. It's a hard but very cool game, have not beet it yet. This is why I assume you want to play it on a portable since it rocks!!!!

What I like about it is that it's the same game but different.
The mechanics are the same, the level design similar, but each level is different.
Its like a sequel made from the same exact source material

That is a really good way to sum it up. I was looking for a way to sum it up and you did it for me!

For me the Rister Game Gear version is like going back and rereading a book you loved years previously and find a bunch of things you missed the first time around. May sound funny but that's how I felt.

I've played "Ristar" on the Genesis, but not the Game Gear. It was a hard game; I never made it past Level Three.
