Online games are based on your Hunter Rank (HR). Higher level missions may say something like... "Kill 8 Giant Dragons that eat people for breakfast: HR must be at least 10."

Unless there are totally open missions you'll be limited.

(I hope I answered this correctly. I only play online with a friend once every blue moon so I don't know all the rules and such...)

Isn't this game limited online to play with local regions? Like Europeans can't play with Americans who can't play with Japanese players?
