Toaplan Shooting Battle Volume 2?

I finally played Toaplan Shooting Battle Volume 1 for PSX, and man, it was so awesome. Having said that, is there any reason it's called Toaplan Shooting Battle Volume 1? I can't seem to find anything about Volume 2. Do any other volumes exist?

My guess is that they intended to make more, but decided not to. Perhaps the first one sold rather poorly? It was over 100 bucks on eBay. Maybe there aren't that many copies because of how little were sold.

Mind you this is all conjecture.

That compilation came out after Toaplan ceased to be. Perhaps licensing for a second one was too much of a problem.

Yeah, I'm guessing it was handled by Gazelle, like Batsugun and Kyukyoku Tiger 2. As far as I know, they didn't really go very far (unlike the rest of Toaplan, who formed Takumi, Raizing, and Cave)

Yeah it really is amazing that Batsugun (especially Special ver.) & TSB vol. 1 even exist at all! It's too bad there weren't more "Toaplan Legendary Series" releases but recent updates in MAME got you covered
