Didn't know you were that quite picky about the series o.pwuaioc. :P

I might try and play Mystic Quest here soon once and for all, haha. Just for the heck of it. It looks alright, pretty short too.

I think playing IV first ruined it for me - it was soooo good the rest just paled in comparison. And yeah, MQ is pretty short. As an 11 year old I was able to beat it in a couple of days (you know, time restrictions and all).

How about the Crystal Chronicles released for Gamecube? I've never played them, but they seemed like decent RPG's released on the GC (which sorely lacked many titles in the genre).

I tried the DS game.....most boring thing I've ever played in the Final Fantasy series. Even Mystic Quest held my interest longer.

Its short and by the numbers but its also a charmer.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
