yeah i'm using cover. im at the part right after the first boat ski, which was annoying. to be honest i have not been much into shooters so all this cover crap is actually new to me. i think if it was a bit more polished i might of enjoyed it. again i like the characters and the story interests me. i even like the setting. i find it to be very repetitive though. the whole game uses the cover system and you never really can just get on your feet and shoot down some baddies. there is no variation. you walk a bit run into baddies shoot them down, pick up ammo and then another wave comes. i did like the chase scene on the jeep and found it to be amusing. also, i don't actually need hand to hand, i just willingly choose to do it a few times out of boredom of doing the same thing.isiolia wrote:I didn't find it all that frustrating, outside of some of the sequences towards the end, which I won't detail due to spoilers.
Generally speaking though, you're using cover, right? It was pretty rare that I got close enough to use H2H in the first one - usually only when not given a choice.
in retrospect, my complaining doesn't matter, i have become addicted to the story and no amount of complaining can change what this game is. im gonna finish it, and i still have intentions to see what all the talk is about on the squeal.
