Got these from the thrift store this morning.

Spike's Peak and Robin Hood for Atari 2600 for $3.00 each. Normally more than I would be willing to pay for Atari games, but I had never heard of Xonox or seen cartridges in this shape before so curiosity got the better of me. They rank a 9 and 8 on AtariAge.com's rarity guide. No idea what they are worth, especially in the ragged condition they are in, but pretty cool to find anyway.

Great find! I have seen double enders years ago, first time to see a single game Xonox cart.

Gaming finds have been really sucky for me lately, but today was a bit better.

Gamestop:
Shining Soul GBA $3.99
Official Gamecube AV cord $4.99 (To replace my old crappy one)
Sonic 20th Anniversary Figure: Original Sonic and Moto Bug $9.99 (couldn't help myself  )

Thrift Store #1:
Four Minty and complete Xbox games-
Medal of Honor Frontline
Halo 2
Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance
Sega GT 2002/Jet Set Radio Future duel disk
$1 each

But my favorite find was at Thrift Store #2:

Yup. A GIANT DK plush. I have him sitting on my futon so you can get a sense of size. The sucker is about 31 inches sitting down. I found him in the thrift store sitting in a baby's high chair  $4.

^ Assuming that DK Plush doesn't reek of smoke or drowning in mildew, i'd love to have that thing. Nice find!

Nope. He doesn't smell at all. I checked (And got a couple of strange looks for doing it too :D .) Though, now that you mention it, I may give him a couple of passes with Febreze just to be on the safe side.

That ape is so lame it's cool... lol

Don't use febreze on it. Leave it as it is and keep the chemicals for when you really need them.

If the ape looks fine and smells fine you won't likely get a disease from it.

Did I just say that?...

went again to a local video rental store thats going out of business!

now their DVD's were a dollar! got about 12 of them.

Their videogames were half off the posted price, so I got....

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus for PS2 Complete with manual original box and audio CD! $12.50

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift XBOX360 also complete with box and manual $7.50

White Knight Chronicles International Edition for PS3, original box and cover but sadly no manual. $7.50

I still dont have a 360 or PS3 but for those prices, it seemed ok. I gifted the white knight game to my buddy. And the Blazblue is going to my collection.

Pawn shop in town just made my day.
I buy here a lot and he always gives me first look at items before they come out. Today I picked up 43 complete and boxed NES games in amazing shape. All with styrofoam inserts and most with the h seam shrink wrap still in tact and tight for 107.00. That cones out to about 2.48 a game. No super rare titles but some pretty good ones. My PC is down so can't post picks but will as soon as I can.

Here's a link to my photobucket in the meantime
