I went to the comic shop today expecting there to be plenty of copies of Detective Comics #1 since it's a Batman book and there's always plenty. But he was sold out, ON THE FIRST DAY!
Damn, really?
AND it's DC, so you know they printed about 5 copies for every person on the planet.. Have you tried online, or even local convenience stores?? I know the 7-11's by me sell the more popular DC/Marvel lines..

Getting games in the mail from a trade here on Racketboy:

-Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense for Dreamcast
-WWF: Attitude for Dreamcast
-Golden Axe II for Genesis
Whoever sent you those games must have been insulting your intelligence.. You should send them back with poop in their cases..

Non-stop parties. Every freaking day. This can't be good for my health or unemployed wallet...

...however, each and every one of these parties were birthday parties. Four of them. In a row. And the month isn't over. (Apparently a lot of my friends' parents' had the same New Year's resolutions...)
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Ticked: Was stuck late at work last night which throws me off and I'm groggy today.

Smile: Got up to adjust the blinds and there was a guy walking his dog and throwing a tennis ball in the little area between my apartments and the houses next to me. The dog is obviously some sort of weird mixed mutt but its body language was really happy and it just made me smile.

That kind of stuff always makes me smile as well.

So... Speaking of blinds, ya hear the one about the blind man? A girl answers her door when a man says he's a blind man who needs to "see" her roommate. The roommate, while in the shower tells her roommate "No way, I'm soaking wet and naked". Her mate responds, "Don't get agitated, he's a blind man and said he only needs to talk to you for 10 seconds". Reluctantly, the girl answers the door. The man says, "Nice tits. Where do you want me to hang the blinds?".

Hey! Blame Bette Midler, she wrote that joke.

I didn't smile today, one of my classmates died due to heart failure. :( The sad thing is is that his mom subbed for us yesterday. The reason I care so much is that the middle school is 200 people.

That sucks. When I was at school a girl died from an allergic reaction to something peanut related in the cafeteria. It was the first I'd heard of that allergy and before it was in the news and labelled on everything. :(

Xeogred wrote:Oh snap, is Vigilante 8 (first game) on the DC as well? I grew up with a lot of N64/PSX versions of most of the games that got ported to the DC, but yeah it's epic getting the DC versions nowadays. Rush 2049 comes to mind as a good one, so much better than the N64 version.
Nope, sad to say that V8 1 is only one PS1 & N64. I used to own the PS1 version of V8 2, and oh man the Dreamcast version looks leaps and bounds better than that one.

Yeah, a girl was in a car crash three years ago, she died too. We were really good friends too. On top of all this I have to do a book report on (joy) Flowers for Algernon. Yeah, not the best day for me. I guess it could've been someone I actually knew well. It's still horrible, though. I guess one thing did make me smile. asdfmovie4 came out.

Something like this happened to me too, my junior year of High School. A boy in my Latin class was killed in a really bad car crash and then a month or so later another guy I knew since elementary school died from being hit by a car on his bike. It was not a good year, because before that another kid died over the summer before school started. :?
