I've seen the Mega Man X collection on PS2 and I always wondered if the games after Mega Man X 3 are worth playing.
Does anyone have any experiences with the games (good or bad) that you'd like to share with me? I never followed the MM series religiously like some people but I always wondered if the later titles of the X series were worth checking out.
As always I appreciate any input. Thanks guys.
Mega Man X series post MMX3- Are they worth playing?
Re: Mega Man X series post MMX3- Are they worth playing?
Yes, especially X4 and X5. X4's a lot more challenging than X5, but I've always found X5 to be the more enjoyable game.
You have to form your own opinion about X6, because it's different from the previous games. It's got some good music, but I hated some of the level designs. Love it or hate it amongst fans I guess.
But if you can find it for a good price, X Collections definitely worth getting.

I don't know if X6 is 'love it or hate it' so much as it is 'hate it or think its okay'
X4 is pretty good. X5 is kinda mediocre but worth playing imo.
Stay the fuck away from X7

For what it's worth I liked X6 more than X5.

I played through X4 over the Summer, and it was my favorite since X1.

I will warn you; the physics of jumping in X4 is different from X3 and it will throw you off.

always found it interesting they published the hell out of Mega Man X even went as far as doing a 2nd run with black and white manuals, but then X 2 and 3 are like super rare but still just as good as X.

They tried to turn it into a 3D action game.Opa Opa wrote:Why?AppleQueso wrote:Stay the fuck away from X7
They did a really terrible job at it.
