That's why I prefer Salvation Army to Goodwill. Salvation Army doesn't give a thought to what stuff's actually worth, they just price it cheap enough to move it out the door. Never seen a game there that was marked higher than $4.

there's a Salvation Army not far from my house. I've only ever visited once or twice, don't think I've ever found any games.

Well, they can vary pretty widely from store to store. Depends on how many other thrift stores in the area are eating up donations, who's running it, etc. Some locations are small and have almost nothing except clothing and stupid nick-nacks.

Ticked Off:
I went to the comic shop today expecting there to be plenty of copies of Detective Comics #1 since it's a Batman book and there's always plenty. But he was sold out, ON THE FIRST DAY!

So I made my way to Barnes and Noble to pick it up. They hadn't even put the comic books out yet, and this was 4pm in the afternoon. So I went to the help desk to ask about it. I was told they were in the back. And the guy just stood there. After a second of awkwardness, I asked him if he could grab a copy for me. He told me no. I was like "Uhhh, why not? It was released today." He tells me there's too many boxes and he doesn't want to look through them. So I'm like "Really?!" He says yes. I just sigh and walk away. I go to the front desk to get help from someone else. I tell him the situation that just happened, and he tells me "The guy you talked to was the manager." So of course this guy is not gonna go over the head of his boss.

What a bunch of crap, huh? They won't sell me a comic because they're too lazy to look through a box. They lose a sale, and I probably will now have to order this issue through CCL, and pay for shipping that shouldn't have had to pay for. And the comic should have already been on the shelves.

Oh snap, is Vigilante 8 (first game) on the DC as well? I grew up with a lot of N64/PSX versions of most of the games that got ported to the DC, but yeah it's epic getting the DC versions nowadays. Rush 2049 comes to mind as a good one, so much better than the N64 version.
