Some would classify it as "noise" but to each his own, as the saying goes.

Well here you go, this should make you both happy to keep your opinions as is.

The remix is more 'traditional' dubstep.

Still no interest in dubstep but as alternative music I suppose the Cololumbiana trailer got me hooked on Lykke Li - I Follow Rivers.

Also that video was absolutely mind blowing I really can't believe people actually clapped. I lol'd pretty hard.

I think the top comment speaks justice of the video.

I got into dubstep around 2005 and was really excited about it for a few years, but I haven't payed much attention to it since about 2008. It seemed to have streamlined itself into a slow chunky bass wobble dance genre. I don't mind those tracks, but it doesn't feel like it's bristling with the same creativity as it was closer to its inception. Back then we weren't even sure what it was called and people were still interchangeably using the labels dubstep, sub low, grime, and eski beats. I liked when you heard hypnotically moody tracks by Burial along intricate beats by Boxcutter along heavy cuts by Vex'd and trippy raps by the Space Ape. All of that kind of fractured and niched itself into different areas, but it was more exciting to me when it all felt like part of one diverse yet unified movement.

Music is defined by the listener whether it's complete cacophony, a carefully arranged symphony, or even just a guy with a harmonica singing.

I don't care for Lil' Wayne. I love how Busta Rhymes just blows away Lil' Wayne and Chris Brown out of the water in this track:

I do like rap though and I don't get the people that don't even consider it music. You must not be listening to the right stuff.

Try something like this little bit of urban poetry.
