Ha Ha Ha, Dead or Alive 2 for the Naomi only uses 3 buttons, I am too used to playing the Dreamcast version. Well I wish all fixes were that easy!!
That main reason I went with the Naomi is it has some good 3D fighters like Project Justice, Dead or Alive 2 and Virtua Fighter 4 if you want a Naomi 2 and an extra power supply. I will also get Giga Wing 2 my favorite shmup and I will defiantly get Capcom vs SNK. I love that fact that a lot of the Naomi games use 4 or less buttons so I don't have to mode the MVS control panel on my cab. I think these games justifies the Naomi for me but every body is different.

Then there you have it.bryan_65 wrote:I think these games justifies the Naomi for me but every body is different.
I have two Naomi setups, one for CvS2 (because it IS the greatest fighter ever created<period>) and the other for...er...well... it came free wth the Universal upright
Well, VT2 and Ikaruga are cool on it (I only have 4 (working) Naomi games right now)
Good call, super price. Deals are to be had, vigilance is the price of a cheap Naomi! DoA2 is cart so no GD-ROM for you yet?bryan_65 wrote:I got Dead or Alive 2 the motherboard and the capcom I O for $260 shipped

Re: capcom play system 2 questions
No GD-ROM for me, I really have no plans on getting one. Unless I get a cab with a rotatable monitor for shmups. Although Borderdown and Chaos Field would be playable and pretty sweet, I don't feel like the $500 or more for Borderdown and the GD-ROM is cheap enough for me.Majors wrote: DoA2 is cart so no GD-ROM for you yet?
When I started looking at other arcade pcbs I first wanted to get a CPS2 but could not find Mars Matrix or Giga Wing for less than $200 after getting an A board too. I have no interest in the CPS2 fighters since I don't want to add any buttons to my cab. That is how I came to settle on getting a Naomi.
