Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Today and tomorrow are 50% off sales at my favorite thrift shop. XD I'm so excited still.

I picked up this video game stuff and some other cool things for my doll furniture collection for around $30 bucks.
The GB/GBA games are still $2 each, the Gameboys $4, the Genesis games 50cents each, Super Mario was $1.30, and the PS games are a dollar each and the one in the slim CD case was free. I didn't really want to get the sports games for the genesis, but there is a collector who comes by in the afternoon and I didn't want him to see that there was good stuff around today. >__>;; There was a Genesis that was supposedly CIB, but it was missing some things and they would not budge from the $50 price. Ah well.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
So my roommate told me that his coworker wanted to sell some of his old games. So my roommate and I went half an half on it. I paid 50 bucks and got:
Chronotrigger snes with manual and both maps/posters
Lufia & Fortress of Doom snes
Lufia 2 Rise of the Sinistrals snes
and the instruction booklet and map for Final Fantasy III snes.
What sucks is that i picked up Lufia & the Fortress of Doom last weekend for 30 bucks. Sometimes ya pay the bad price and some time ya pay the good price.

not such a great deal but todays find was a black gamecube console only to go with my black gameboy player!, $11.25. And I already like it a heap more than my purple gamecube & gameboy player, and heaps heaps more than my silver gamecube with bad buttons. Looks a lot better with the old black sega consoles as well.
Now I just need some decent gameboy games to go with it...

nice work dude. I emailed the same guy at around 1:30 am so we must have been close! Seriously jealous!HTP5 wrote:New here, just picked up a big haul today. Last night at about 12:30am I was about to go to bed and saw a craigslist add for 21 NES games, 16 NIB and 5 CIB for $125.
That pesterminator is going to recoup your investment cost+more. $175-$200 right there.
It's a shame there aren't any titles in there that are real "good" classics. Mostly of interest to sealed NES collectors. 1943 is the closest I would consider keeping, but that one's going to fetch huge dollars too.
You should post it on DigitalPress and that sealed game collectors site to advertise your auctions or see if any of them are local to set up a sale.
