INCOMING BELTS AND ZIPPERS!

... I still need to really play a DQ game myself. Haha. Well now that I've officially beaten FFI-X, it'll happen someday I guess. What do you guys think of the SNES ones?

Should be pretty good. Some seem worried about the game being online, but I am not. This is the Enix DQ team, and they have shown that, unlike Square's FF teams, they can still make a quality game.

Haven't they outsourced the DQ series lately though? I thought Level 5 developed DQ8 for Enix and maybe DQ9. Does Enix even have any in house developers anymore? lol.

Not that it's against your point at all though, heh.

I could very well be totally wrong. I haven't paid much attention to the company since even before the merger. Just seems like the recent DQ games are still very good and FF games and the variou spinoffs are not. In my opinion anyway. :P

I just read IGN's article on the conference [yeah, yeah, IGN sucks, I know] and noticed something really, REALLY big that everyone else seemed to miss: DQX will not come on a disc. It won't be a downloadable game either; it will come on a USB stick. Do you know what this means? For the first time since the Super Famicom, a Dragon Quest home console game will be released on what is effectively a cartridge. Not only will the next Dragon Quest game be branching out into online play, something that is unheard of for both the series and the Wii, but for the first time in a very long time, a mainstream home console title will be released on a cart...

Hate to break it to you but according to the official site it says - Media: Wii - 12cm disc AKA Wii DVD + USB memory, WiiU - undecided. So yeah, not USB exclusively...
