I've probably listened to this album 300 times or better. Never gets old!

Dir En Grey from Japan....I describe them as "extreme nu-metal". they sing a lot in "engrish" but they are a really solid hard rock/heavy metal band, and they do a lot of way out there stuff...one of the few bands i really cant compare to anyone else. I worked backstage at a big festival today with Theory of a Deadman and Altar bridge and I felt like I needed some music that fit my taste a little more...

Can anyone recommend a good Italian opera? Maybe something that's free to download (i.e.: not stealing) and I could burn to a cd?

Jeez. Where to start?

Well, start here: Rigoletto

You'll probably recognize several movements if you are familiar with opera. If not, you'll probably remember La Dona e Mobile (The woman is fickle).

I would highly suggest seeking out local theaters who may have operas playing so you can figure out who you really like. There are just so many to name that you need to just put your "feelers out" to see what you like.

Good luck!

I have been listening to a guy who is aiming to get off his feet in the music world. His name is Joe Rhead, and I feel he needs a lot more attention. his music is very calming stuff and really gives a great perspective on life. he only has one ep and you can here a lot of his stuff online right now. here is some places you can check him out:

Child of Eden in game music. They're mostly remixes of remixes of Genki Rockets music.

I posted a DL link in the CoE thread. Get at it.
