Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Dropped in to one of the local P'N'T stores and saw on their systems shelf a Sega Saturn Fight stick and a 3d Controller. With about $4 store credit and a $5 off card I believe I paid less than $3 out of pocket.
Also got Goal! Two for .99 - not really sure on its value.. seems like there aren't any completed auctions. but looked like it was worth maybe $15?

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Couple of N64 lots..
First one from ebay..

The Mad Katz steering wheel has a realy good responsive feel to it and works great with F1 WGP.
Cost £10.50 collected.
Second lot from a British Heart Foundation charity shop..

When I opened the boxset I was intrigued by the controller and thought I had found a colour I wasn't aware of.
On closer inspection at home

Does anyone know what caused this, smoke
, sunlight
, or a bit of both
Cost £15.
Strangely the charity shop also had a MD/Gen 1 console only, not even an RF wire with it for £30

Man, I wish I was that lucky. I'd be happy just to get Pokemon Stadium 2 for that, never mind a boxed N64 with the other games too
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
New here, just picked up a big haul today. Last night at about 12:30am I was about to go to bed and saw a craigslist add for 21 NES games, 16 NIB and 5 CIB for $125. Thought about it for an hour because I'm low on money and sent him an email saying I'd take it. Woke up today and didn't see an email back, felt disappointed and figured someone else beat me to it. Then at about 11:30 he emailed me and we were in business. Drove half an hour into a pretty low income neighborhood and pulled into his apartment with a sign in the parking lot reading "PLEASE LEAVE NO LITTER AROND". Called him up, he came out covered in tattoos and had a shaved head, incredibly nice guy. Told me he had about 30 emails and people saying things like "I'll give you $250 for it" but I emailed him first and as he said "First is first." What's even more amazing is that he found them all at a church thrift store.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
^ MM Legends 2 - CIB - $10, very nice!
I like those N64 wheels, but damn it if they don't just take up too much room and they are so damn bulky its impossible to sell them after the cost of shipping.
I ended up tossing mine in the trash after I couldn't get enough to cover the cost of ship to make it worth my while to box up safely.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Yeah I was quite suprised when I saw the price. I'm jus glad I hit the local flea market on impulse like I did, and 10 is reallly all I had
but now, I can't afford to eat
man, the shit gamers go through LOL!

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Picked up a console lot about 5 days ago.
Original Nintendo (finally got it working)
Dreamcast plus controller
Sega Genesis Model 2
Nintendo 64 plus cables and controller (refuse to power on
)
Nintendo 64 no cables
3 Guitar Hero guitars
SNES controller
Dragon ball Z Sagas (PS2)
Cabela (PS2)
Maximum Carnage
= $35
Not a great deal until I sell those guitar hero guitars and get the Nintendo 64s up and running. It is cool to finally own a Nintendo though.
Later I picked up 2 genny controllers and a video cable = $7.50
