It seems that the BJ Wholesale in Nashua, NH did not get the price drop memo yet. They're still selling the 3DS with game/case for $299.

do you guys anticipate a sale around the holidays? I was considering getting one of these now that the price has dropped but there arent really any must have games. I like RPG's mostly, and there arent many on the 3DS yet.
I'm wondering if just waiting for around the holidays might be best, especially since tales of the abyss and junk like that would be out around then

Yeah wait till the holidays. Or at least till the 13th of this month when Nintendo is having a press conference about the future of the 3DSkenshin-dono wrote:do you guys anticipate a sale around the holidays? I would assume they would talk about the fistful of quality first party titles that are coming out, and thats about it. There is no way they are abandoning the 3ds. At all.ZeroAX wrote:Yeah wait till the holidays. I think he was more referring to rumours of them announcing an update.BlackDS wrote:I would assume they would talk about the fistful of quality first party titles that are coming out, and thats about it. Personally, I think it's way to early for that.

If they don't announce a 3DS update (and I don't think they will), then that'll solidify my decision to buy a 3DS. I got $100 worth of gift cards that want to be used.
Re: 3DS price dropped to $170
I got all my free Famicom games and they are pretty cool to have. I am also really looking forward to the upcoming 3DS announcements. I really hope they show off the 3DS LL, and fix some of the problems with the current model.
Re: 3DS price dropped to $170

Here we go a right nub, and a $170 price tag to clear out current models for the 'lite' with new built in nub retailing at $199.99 right around the corner.
Or will this become the new Sega Genesis/CD/32X?

Fu*k.
Actually, I bet the 3ds phat will be more ergonomic, but still. Low blow.

Re: 3DS price dropped to $170
This is hilariously ugly. Well if they release the 3DS "lite" (which will actually be fatter) quick enough, maybe they can fix things.
Either way now I'm definitely waiting for the revision
EDIT
Apparently it also adds 2 shoulder buttons (R2 and L2)
