I think the new krayt dragon roar is worse honestly

I kinda think he refuses to release the originals out of some kind of spite or something. I know his excuse is that the negatives were apparently destroyed to make the SE's, but even if that's actually true I don't buy for one second that the original inter-positives were destroyed. Besides even if they were, there are high quality 35mm prints in the hands of collectors that could be used for a transfer.

I saw it posted elsewhere the other day. If it is real, well, I never was a huge fan and after the prequels and him constantly messing with 4-6 I'd kind of given up on them anyway. If it is someone trolling, I still don't care anymore anyway. *shrug*

Like I've said somewhere else, when hell freezes over and we finally get nice HD transfers of the pre-SE original trilogy, give me a call. Until then, I'll pass.

The removal of the line "Father please!" disappoints me off more than the addition of "Noooooo!". Ya know there's that seen when Vader says, "So you accept me as your Father" and Luke says something close to, "I accept that you were once my Father", so when Luke actually addresses as his Father, it has an impact. Now it's just "Noooo!".

Obi's "roar" however, is so hilariously bad I wouldn't mind it as a ring tone. But at this point, Lucas is just fucking with us. He's always claimed the edits were done because he didn't have the technology to make the movies how he wanted. But he's changing dialogue and key plot points left and right. But I could be wrong. Perhaps the technology didn't exist for Vader to shout "Noooooo!" in 1983. It was a crazy year ya know.
