I am not a violent person at all. It doesn't matter what video game I play, I won't become more aggressive. If anything, I would feel happier and more relaxed from playing video games, so I may be less aggressive or violent. Same with movies, music, etc.

This is true for a lot of people.

I've known plenty of guys who were fans of gore movies who were some of the nicest and most nonviolent people I've ever met.
