Watched What Dreams May Come again.
I can't help but tear up at the end. But something sad I noticed is how outdated the CG look now. It sort of evaporated a bit of the magic away from me.
But overall an amazing movie, a bit loveydovey, but it talks about the afterlife without getting too "which-religion-is-right" in the process.
What was the last movie you've seen?
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Young Frankenstein
for probably the 50th time. I love that movie to death.

Tree of Life
Meh. It was okay (glad I didn't pay for the ticket though). My biggest complaint is that the 10 minute montage at the beginning was too long and I wasn't sure what it was trying to show until the dinosaurs showed up

If the wife and I get seperated say in a mall or grocery store, all I have to do is shout "Puddin onnnn the Reeeetzzzzz!" and she finds me in no time.

Watched Rambo: First Blood last night. It was good as a fun, violent shoot-out sort of movie. Not as cheesy as the parodies make it out to be.
I also watch Pitch Black today. I figured I might as well, since I had played through The Chronicles of Riddick on Xbox. It was good, but I think that oddly enough, Riddick is actually better in videogame form.

First Blood is an excellent movie, and from what I know of the back story of the movie it was based on a novel that is also highly-praised. However they changed the ending. I never read the novel, personally. The sequels (Rambo: First Blood Part II & Rambo III) are the ones that were way-over-the-top.BoringSupreez wrote:Watched Rambo: First Blood last night. Did you watch RAMBO: First Blood Part II, or First Blood? They are very different (and equally good) films.

The Godfather Part II.
I had never seen this film. I only watched Godfather for the first time maybe 3 or 4 years ago. It was a great film. Loved it. So when my Sister in law and her husband found out my wife and I hadn't watched it yet, we planned an 'Italian' themed night. We watched Godfather earlier before dinner, then cooked dinner and watched Godfather II. I went in totally blind for GFII and it was awesome. I loved that I went in knowing nothing of the film save for a few small quotes (You broke my heart, etc).
It was like watching Empire Strikes Back for the first time. Totally badass.
Next week, Godfather III. I heard it's not as good as II, but still has it's merits, so we shall see.

First Blood, not Part II. Never seen Part II, don't know if I should bother or not.indecks wrote:BoringSupreez wrote:Watched Rambo: First Blood last night. It was good as a fun, violent shoot-out sort of movie. Not as cheesy as the parodies make it out to be.
