I'm in the tired of same style game camp.
Too many Shmups and now Run and Guns. I can see these as a home brew market but come on! A commercial release should fully utilize Dreamcast's capabilities. How about a new REZ or a full 3d game. I don't mean DS 3D but some GDRom, Naomi or similar quality games from the Arcades that never came out on the DC.

Why are they only releasing RPGs for my genesis!!?? I demand a new type of game be developed from scratch by someone else so that I can maybe think about buying it for my 10-years-dead-plus console!! This is egregious!!

The game is supposed to have exploration elements so I think it's going to be more a Metroid style game.
The game was designed for the Neo-Geo and then ported to the Dreamcast. Sure the Neo-Geo isn't as powerful as the Dreamcast but 2D Neo-Geo games really have a timeless look to them and they still look great even today. The idea of a Metroid style Neo-Geo game sounds awesome if you ask me and I'm thrilled I get to play one on my Dreamcast!

Someone should make a first person type game and utilise that shitty thumbstick.

Lol, some silly shit in this thread. Buncha whiners

This game looks great, as does Sturmwind.

If you want fps or rpgs, go get a current gen system. The.DC has always been full of arcade-style games. Not to mention this game is programmed for the Neo Geo.

If it wasn't for releases like this, the Dreamcast would have been dead years ago

agree with Dunpeel. Indie shmups is pretty much the reason I wanted a DC.

The Dreamcast has been dead for nearly a decade. If an occasional homebrew game means the system is alive, then the Genesis is way more alive than the Dreamcast.

Sega liscenced games up till 2007, so it has not been dead for a decade.

I see a difference between homebrew games and stuff like Fast Striker, Last Hope, Sturmwind, or this.

Or for that wonderful Dreamcast keyboard and Mouse which all major FPS on the console already support! :D

Sound like Someone had their daily dose of Haterade ;)
