wow. XBLA just keeps on piling up the releases. Think about how many games on XBLA that would have never been re-released or even released at all without the service. Especially shmups.

Yeah no kidding. How many people got a chance to play Guwange or Triggerheart Exelica that never would have. Not to mention the Treasure love.

Just considering XBLA, the 360 is a shmup-lovers dream. When you factor in local and region free physical games, it easily stands out as one of the best consoles for shmups ever.

Guwange is unbelievable! On the other hand, I don't really like the 360 version of Triggerheart Exelica at all. The remixed sound is a big downgrade from the Dreamcast version, IMO. No story or arrange modes either. :x

Oh wow, I didn't know there was that big a difference between them. I suppose its still nice fir $10, byt I'm now tempted to pick up the dreamcast version
