Competition breeds aggression in humans.

Just look at people jockying for that extra 2" on a highway during rush-hour.
I'm all calm and calculated playing Marvel vs Capcom until I can start slinging insults at the six-year old next to me.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Being evolved to think such? (Might want to dig up a little on anthropology here.)

That's my point; it's a human construct, not inherit to the world.

Ah, so you have no problem with any and all kinds of atrocities, rape, murder, torture, etc., as long as you stand to benefit from it. Do I understand that correctly?

I don't know. Want me to freeze your arms until they fall and then fill you with sicknesses? It's soooo hard to think why they are atrocities.

Anyways, you are a dick. But you already knew that.

So you don't mind bringing your wife/daughter/sister/mother to the next racketboy meeting so we can gangrape her while playing retro games?

As long as we are majority, he wouldn't mind!

Now you're putting words in my mouth. I never said I was ok with what the majority decides, I merely said it's how the government works. And just because something isn't inherently an atrocity doesn't mean I'm a fan of it, or want it to happen.

Apparently this isn't the sort of thread that you can just jump into on page 4 I guess.

Is it bad that despite disagreeing almost completely with mr popo I think he's making a better argument?

Actually he's not even really arguing as much as he's making general statements that are seriously ruffling a few feathers.

I'm not making a statement dude. Just troll-lol-ing. He used a pretty bad example for what he wants to get across.
