I'll be honest, once I finally got my duo and booted up Y's I& II and Shadow of the Beast, I realized what the hype was all about.

The soundtracks to both blew me away when I was a wee lad. I had the turbo hooked up to an old hi-fi system with my room full of 70's monster speakers.

Go to a fan convention. Plenty of geek girls who are either gamers or will understand gaming. Atleast Robbie's girl is just a Beauty and the Beast fan. My girl owns horses...Let me tell you, that changes the ballgame alot (you go from looking for a nice house in the suburbs to a farm on the edge of town that has six acres and possibly 36). Granted when I met mine she said that she use to play games like Tetris, Lion King, and Delta Force 2...

She baited you with Delta Force 2, but really wanted a horse

I live in the country, and prefer it. But...

there are two kinds of horse owners. Those who use them as a helping factor for rach work, and those who want a pony to play with. I hate the latter. I also dislike professional ropers, any kind of barrel racer, and derby racers who are stuck up.

Off topic, Great room.

I love that shelf, used part of my tax refund two years ago to pick it up, Since I took that picture, I've officially run out of space on it. Might be time to trim the fat on the game/movie collection a bit.

The TV is a 46" Sony Bravia EX500. Aside from not having S-video inputs, it's been a fantastic TV.

I am back! Well I had a "Classic Gaming Day" at my apartment and cleaned up the controller storage for the big event. Here are some pics from that endeavor

Controller storage ottoman

This is what is looks like closed.

You can also flip each lid and use as coffee table type surface.Very convenient

I thought it was interesting that I had six Genesis controllers and not one was the same design
Image

I also never realized I had this many Dreamcast controllers

Living Room all re-organized for the big get-together. Love these sectional pieces.

That's a lot of Dreamcast controllers.
Is it just me, or do dreamcast games often come without cases? Why would someone throw out a game case/manual? It's free storage!
Consoles: N64, Wii, Dreamcast, PS2, SNES, Saturn, Genesis, PS3, NES, Wii U, 2600, PS4
Handhelds: Game Boy Advance, 3DS, PSP, New 3DS
