Guardian Heroes

Man, I absolutely love everything about this game. As much I enjoy playing it on my Saturn, I can't help but feel this game would be PERFECT for the Xbox Live Arcade. What are the odds of Treasure bringing this to XBLA?

I think it would be the 2nd best choice to put up on Live from the console next to Saturn Bomberman. I hope they do put it up so that it will lower the price of the game on Ebay, as it is the general trend. I have been wanting a copy of the game on my Saturn for years but it is a bit pricey and it looks like it will continue to climb. Currently it costs 65+ dollars for a complete copy.

Depending on how Ikaruga is doing, odds are fair.

The only thing I don't like is the massive amount of slow-down during large battles. If they can correct that, I'd be happy. Otherwise, this game is fantastic. The reason I bought a Saturn.

Guardian Heroes is probably my favorite game of all time. If they port it to XBLA and it has good online multiplayer support I'd be extremely tempted to get a 360.

It's part of the charm of pushing a system to it's limits.

Yes and no. A little slowdown is great I think, or a lot of it in certain shmups and such. But in Guardian Heroes it really goes too far for the type of game it is imo, especially on 2-player co-op. It doesn't ruin it, but it would be nice to have it lessened somewhat.

Guardian Heroes is a title that needs a good, quality sequel, and I don't mean the GBA sequel. It needs a 2D, HD console sequel or expanded remake. VERY worthy game. I've owned my copy since I first got my Saturn and it's one of my favorite titles. I haven't played it in a while, but in the past I've played the hell out of it.

I love playing this game but I can never find any buddies interested in playing it with me. so having it on XBLA would be perfect. I read that Treasure was focusing its efforts on the XBLA and Wii Virtual console, so one can only hope.

I actually liked the GBA "sequel".
