Muchi Muchi Pork is such a great game. Pink Sweets is also excellent! Good price for em too!ZenErik wrote:Will soon be playing Muchi Muchi Pork.Won a copy on eBay for about $65.
And still waiting for my copy of Deathsmiles to arrive.
Today for shmups I played some Exceed 3rd. For some reason that particular game isn't working correctly with my arcade sticks. The game is awesome, but I am not a big fan of playing on the keyboard. And since then I have been playing The iDOLM@STER.

Ownage. Still need to beat it again myself, that damn second mid-boss in the final stage.wip3outguy7 wrote:MUSHA!

Had been DDP DFK BL for about a week, but having upped my high score on strong mode (c-type), I've switched to Akai katana for a bit.

Yeah, I almost beat it the other night. I was just playing for the hell of it and started to figure out the invincibility exploits from gathering and loosing powerups. Before I knew it I was at the end boss and lost my last life. Not bad I guess. I still haven't managed to beat it, though. I picked up the Capcom Fighter Power Stick for the Genesis the other night and MUSHA feels oh so orgasmic with it.Xeogred wrote:Ownage. Re: What shmup are you playing now?
I only just recently discovered MUSHA through this place, but I dont have hundreds of dollars for one on ebay. I think I'm going to have to explore some emulation possibilities until I get rich (or die tryin')
Myself, I last night hooked up the Mega Drive with sweet stereo sound from a pair of big 70's wooden speakers and played THUNDER FORCE IV. I love shooters but suck at them. Plus my volume was limited by my sleeping child.
"RAILGUN!" Damn, I love the way that the music cuts out to make way for voice samples on the mega drive, so charming. "RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE".

The past few days I have played a bit of Guwange, Gunbird 2, Strikers 1945, and Psyvariar 2.
Loving Guwange and Psyvariar is pretty interesting too. Extremely short levels in Psyvariar.

If you have a Wii it is on the virtual console.god wrote:I only just recently discovered MUSHA through this place, but I dont have hundreds of dollars for one on ebay. I think I'm going to have to explore some emulation possibilities until I get rich (or die tryin')

I'm playing through DonPachi on the Saturn. My only real gripe with it so far is that it has unlimited continues. Anyone know how to take this off?
