So, I bought an old Magnavox RGB 80 monitor (Model 8CM515) and am having some trouble. I'm wanting to adapt it for use with my consoles that output RGB.
I managed to find the pinouts for the connectors by finding the manual to my monitor online:

I've further deduced that this was an Amiga compatible monitor and Commodore 1084 monitor clone as well hence the Digital input. My biggest problem is finding out how to go about feeding the monitor sync properly as I have no idea how to get H.Sync and V.Sync out of the standard Composite Sync on the Genesis. Not to mention building a cable or SCART/RGB to 6-PIN DIN RGB adapter setup. I don't want to fry what I'm slowly learning is a very rare monitor to have found for only $5.
Anyhow, does anyone who's pretty knowledgeable about these monitors have a suggestion to start on?
Here's some more info on Amiga and Comodore monitors I bumped into as well (yet sadly fails to mention sync stripping, etc...):

UPDATE!
I later found this which shows a sync stripping circuit using an LM1881 chip that is easily built for under $4 as well:
