they have been going up lately into the 20-40 buck range now, god this is gonna eat a hole through my wallet now that im in the mood to play my dreamcast...

If RTS meant systems, then I'd say $20 to $40 is good. For games, depending on the game (rarity etc), that's still good. I don't see the issue either way.

i want to sell because i bought 1 on a whim and had 2 for awhile. last one i sold for $60 plus shipping, all wires with a vmu.
