Post by Busomjack »

I was just checking my facebook page and NGdev has confirmed that Gunlord will be being released on three platforms. The Neo Geo MVS in October, the Dreamcast in December and the AES in 1st quarter 2012.

Pre-orders start in September.

So friggin pumped to play this one!

Here is the message from NGDev...

We will start to accept advanced orders on Gunlord for NEOGEO MVS, NEOGEO AES (Homecart/NGH) and Dreamcast in September.
MVS is currently scheduled for October
Dreamcast 4th quarter 2011
AES for 1st quarter 2012.
More details will follow the next few weeks.
Pre-orders will start with the publishing of a first video on Youtube.

Wow very close to Sturmwinds release on Nov. I better start saving my pennies. I hope gunlord is as good as Fast Striker turned out.

Nice. I really liked Fast Striker, so this should be good.

Is it another shooter? Why can't home brewers create new platform games?

probably because Shmups sell. And the DC is a great console for 2D shooters.

I think you could fart in a bag and sell it to Dreamcast owners at this point, and it would sell out in moments. I do agree that it would be nice to see something other than a shmup every so often -- but it seems that those hanging on to the Dreamcast for dear life only want more shmups. :P

I love that they're doing AES and MVS copies too though.

Isn't Gunlord a Run n' Gun?

Sweet I can't wait!!! Fast Striker was great and I already sent my money out for Sturmwind, I am just loving all these new Dreamcast games. Too bad I can't afford the MVS versions, o' well at least there showing the Dreamcast some love. This makes me really happy. Any word on a uber deluxe special limited edition yet? I missed out on the Fast Striker one , but at least I had enough dough to buy the regular edition and play it.

I think it's safe to assume that this will have a limited print run and become pricey right?
