It's also on PC, which probably holds up better than the console versions.alienjesus wrote: Anyhow - Psychonauts - XBox or PS2? I'm assuming the former.

Re: Which Version Is Best?
Thanks for the Sparkster answers. I didn't have a clue they were 2 separate games. Just to be clear, neither of them are actually "Rocket Knight Adventures", is it? Because I already own that one and would want to avoid that version of Sparkster if that's the case.
But, I never got a reply on The Death & Return of Superman. SNES or Genesis version?

The mega drive sparkster is a direct sequel to rocket knight adventures. I think the SNES is kind of a side story or something.BurningDoom wrote:Thanks for the Sparkster answers. Honestly, Death & Return of Superman is a poor game on either platform. Even if you're a fan of the Superman franchise, I'd just emulate it. This game is pretty forgettable.

It was originally designed for the GC. Wii version is a port so he's supposed to be a south pawXeogred wrote:I played the Wii version and had no problem with it, that said, I don't think you're missing anything by going with the GC version and whenever I get a Wii again, I just might buy that version instead. It was one of those early Wii titles where the motion controls were worthless, as in, you just wiggled around the controller in your lap with no effort to do everything. Not that I'm complaining since I don't like motion controls in general (the setup works really well with Metroid Prime 3 though!), but yeah.noiseredux wrote:GCN. Bear in mind I don't have a Wii yet, so I can't really choose between the two, but is it worth getting on the Gamecube or not?
The only oddity between the versions is that because they made Link right handed in the Wii game, the world is completely mirrored from the GC release. Weird.

Doh!
I should have known to check wikipedia. Thanks for the link.
I guess I'll just go with whichever PS1 version I find cheapest seeing as the original version comes with all revisions.

Good stuff. Have you played the original before or REmake? They're both totally worth playing. I played them back to back and still got a lot of enjoyment out of both to see the differences and all. Different enough to warrant replays, REmake adds a lot of stuff and looks gorgeous (even better than RE4 I'd say), and the original just has that hilarious B-grade charm to it. The voice acting and intro is legendary.Opa Opa wrote:Doh!

This, definitely check out the gamecube remake sometime. It's got enough new content and changes that it's practically a whole new game.Xeogred wrote:Good stuff.
