That fight was so ridiculously annoying.
You know what's really gonna piss you off? His two mini souls are vulnerable to X-Zone. So when he possesses you cast X-Zone and laugh as the fight is over.

There's hilarious stuff like that in FFVI. Wasn't the train boss something you could kill with the usual Phoenix Down? lol.

Yeah, that tends to work on a lot of bosses in the Final Fantasy series. The T-Rex in FFV that hits like a truck goes down to phoenix down.

Hell, there's more. I killed the Samurai Soul by confusing it. It killed itself.

Saga Frontier on PS1

With all the pre-rendered backgrounds I feel like I should be controlling a blocky FF7 character...

Phantasy Star on my Master System. Soooooo much grinding. I think I'm finally through the worst of it now though, and I'm off to find Noah. I wasn't expecting to need to go through another dungeon to get to him though >_<

I have had a pretty long break from FFIII (VI) on the SNES, I think I will try to get back into it today and hopefully play it through to finishing it. I have a 1 RPG at a time rule and I plan on playing FFXIII-2 when it comes out so I need to get cracking!

I think my S-Video cables might be busted, colors that I imagine should be solid now seem to be slightly checkered.

That's actually an issue I had with my old HDTV; running using the same cable on a CRT was fine. Did you upgrade your TV since the last time you played? I ended up getting an XRGB-3 to take care of it (as well as other issues with running old systems on modern TVs).
