Translation patch for Animal Forest (N64)?

Post by General Chaos »

The title pretty much says it all. Is anyone aware of such a patch?

Thanks.

I wonder if anyone could just rip the translation of the gamecube version and apply that to the ROM.

Perhaps so, Perhaps so. I ask because I'm trying to convince myself to concentrate on my PSP and possible ditch my DS. The only game I really, really enjoy on the DS is AC and I was curious if Animal Forest could be emulated on the PSP (and translated of course).

I used to own it on Gamecube but it so badly could have used online play. I eventually gave up. I'd like to play again without buying again.

Good luck running it on a PSP at anywhere near full speed…

Last time I tried N64 emulation on PSP it could barely manage 10fps on mario 64 :S

Ah, I wasn't sure how it had progressed. So not worth emulating N64 at all on the PSP?

Nah not really. I very much doubt it will ever get to a state of being playable. I hear GBA emulation is coming along nicely though…

Stick to emulating PS1 games. Thats the best 'emulation' on the handheld so far.

I think you should just keep your DS. There's so many good games that are coming out for it. What have you got on PSP God Of War? Don't see any other decent games on the horizon…

Yeah that's valid point. There isn't much coming out for the PSP any time soon. I just never find myself wanting to carry around 2 handhelds at once. Probably will just keep the DS. It does definitely have some good stuff on the horizon.
