Done with the tutorial. I haven't had it but for like an hour.

So far this is the funniest game I've played in a while.

These girls are so adorable. Starting playing yesterday. It's not the best game ever made, but I'm enjoying every minute so far.

I think that's the bottom line, right there. It's NOT the best game ever made. But it is so charming, funny and enjoyable that nothing else should matter about it.

The pedigree of the developer made me worried about trying it. I got burned hardcore by Cross Edge.

So it's better than Cross Edge, but the only reason I beat Cross Edge is I wasn't going to let it get the better of me. It got better once I unlocked enough abilities to abuse the battle system, but it still didn't have much holding it together, as the story was ass and the environments were uninteresting. I guess I might snag Neptunia if I see it on the cheap.

Neptune's battle system is waaaaaaay better than Cross Edge. CE's was really confusing. Hyper's is streamlined. In fact the game itself is pretty streamlined and briskly paced. You don't walk on a world map but instead select new areas from a list to explore. The writing is a million times better in Hyper as well. But remember, Hyper was developed by Sega, Compile Heart, Gust, AND Idea Factory. It's really interesting honestly.
