I recall certain situations where tails was annoying in the sonic 2 special stages, but overall didn't have much of a problem. He is behind you 99% of the time (unless you get hit by bombs just right in which case you're fucked) so his rings are just gravy.

I had problems burning sega cd games for a while. The first one that ever actually worked for me was sonic megamix.

After I got a new computer and re-researched how to burn sega cd games, I've had success every time I've tried.

Gah, I'm frustrated.

I tried to burn Megamix, and succeeded (got that silly text file they put on there), but it doesn't run on my Sega CD. It gives the disc a quick spin, then goes right back to telling me how to open the tray, as though there weren't a disc in there at all.

Just to be sure I didn't fuck it up, I used it to boot from disc on Kega Fusion, and it worked perfectly.

I burned at 4x. I don't know what the problem is.

I burned mine at 8x, and it works fine. Did you make sure to burn the ISO file to the disc, and not that stuff you get when you just double-click the downloaded file?

I didn't, but I can't blame anyone who did.

What baffles me is the people who thought/think Tails was female even knowing that his name is "Miles" or seeing any of the official literature that refers to him as male.

If you play Sonic 3 and Knuckles again though you might just hear some of Michael Jackson's songs. Apparently some people think he wrote the soundtrack for those games.

If I'm not mistaken, Sega actually confirmed that as true, after Michael died and people started liking him again.

They did!? That's pretty interesting. I'm not too surprised though - because there are a lot of coincidences in his music with the soundtrack.
