Just sold Lunar, Lunar 2, and Arc the Lad Collection for $275 on eBay, waiting for the fees to eat me alive.

Wedding planning is ridiculous. I mean, I know that's common knowledge, I know it's cliche, but hear me out on this: All the pageantry and politics involved is completely eye-rollingly irrational. The extent that people care about the stupidest little things is absolutely dumb. It is a sad commentary on our culture that people care so much about the wedding but so little about the marriage.

Wedding planning is simple. Butt out and let the lady take charge.

Smile and nod. Repeat.

Great start to any marriage, passive defeat.

Anyways, do any of you kids know a decent American online retailer that ships to UK/Ireland? Beyond the obvious, that is. Searching for a couple of thing, looking for
a bargain.

I was talking with a co-worker today that was also home at the time and said she thought a tree landed on her house. That's really amazing to me, since at my house I thought the source of the boom was directly above me as well. And she lives a good 15 miles away.
The sound from a sonic boom probably reverberated in the attic space as opposed to being blocked more by the layers in the walls being close together.

I might turn this into a bit, but:

Have you seen the new Cottonelle toilet paper commercials advertising a product for storing rolls of ass wipe? The slogan is, I kid you not, "respect the roll". The premise is that a container should be used to store your toilet paper in, as it's a product of integrity that deems respect.

It's a product you use to wipe your ass. It must be the least respected product followed closely by the day after pill (but thank God for both of 'em). This marketing ploy is either genius or incredibly stupid, I think the latter, as people generally don't respect things they use to smear fecal matter on.

Careful with stress; you can give yourself an ulcer and they be really screwed.

It got up to 111 degrees today (a record) here in Texas
Needless to say I pretty much stayed inside all day. Hopefully we will start cooling off within the next coming days...

I think it was 107 here. My patio was 115 and change at one point. So bad when you wish a hurricane or tropical storm will come.
