Well, in the past, newer games often had anti piracy patches or required firmware updates to allow you to play a game (ala GTA PSP), so some people had a seperate PSP for playing legit games.BlackDS wrote:I am confused as to why people need 2 psps, one hacked and one unhacked. Can you not play UMDs on a hacked PSP or something?

Relaunching Hen/LCFW is only necessary when the PSP is turned off. (Really turned off; not sleep mode). It only takes like 5 seconds to relaunch so it isn't a big deal.It looks like there's the LCFW/HEN, for a proper CFW setup, though that requires a relaunch every time you reboot, is anyone using that here?
I've never heard of this. Of course I've been out of the clique for a while.I've also seen signed homebrew which just runs straight off of OFW it seems, this seems like it'd be the best way to do it, but is it easy enough/compatible enough to do? I.E. could I get a decent setup of emulators/ISOs/eboots using purely signed stuff?
Straight up!noiseredux wrote:avrame is totally the RB PSP guru. That's my dude.
