it's mentioned that you can do it... but I can't find the Option in any of the in-game menus.

I thought you had a PS2 slim. Are you trying to install it to your PS3?

yes. There's a PS2 HDD utility you can download from PSN.

Isn't there supposed to be a hyper mode type unlock for the anthology version of SFA3? I think I read about that somewhere but I've never figured it out.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Yes it's worth every penny to purchase SFA Anthology regardless of the previous Alpha ports you have on other consoles. All titles are "Arcade Perfect" in the truest sense and is one of the best compilations to ever have been made on any console. HDD Install option, Dipswitch Settings, Progessive Scan mode and 7 complete games, 1 of which is exclusive to the collection. Officially titled "Hyper Street Fighter Alpha" the game takes every engine in the entire Alpha series and puts it together one complete game (think Hyper SF2 found in Anniversary Collection). I love the Apha series as much as anyone and this collection is one Capcom's best (if not the best) effort in the SF franchise! :)

Yes! It can be unlocked by completing every game in the collection (including Alpha 3 Upper and Gem Fighter) once. Highlight "Alpha Warriors Dreams" and hold either "Select" or "Start" (I forget which lol!) and then press "X". You"ll see the new titles screen if done correctly :)

Cool info, thanks. I've beaten them all, I think, with the exception of Gen/Pocket Fighter, which I can't get the hang of at all.

Gem Fighter is definately it's own beast with its unique fighting mechanics, but its a very fun and quirly game regardless. Also take into a account that "Hyper Alpha" is strictly a 2P player head to head game ONLY. There is no single player game mode.
