Perhaps I should have said "Why the hell would anyone even want one then?" instead of "Why the hell would you even want one then?" I wasn't talking about you in particular. It was a generic you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generic_you
I couldn't see the appeal of it, that's why I asked. That was a genuine question, you just mistook it for sarcasm or something. I wasn't knocking it.
And while I'm not aware of the exact number of retail Dreamcast games, I am fully aware that 15 is 10% of 150. That was sarcasm.
Don't think I'm mad I'm just pointing out that you completely took my post the wrong way.
Ha yeah, sorry man, guess I read it wrong and had too much caffeine. Yeah, I bought one myself, and have had problems with my knockoff brand 32gb sd card working with it at all, so I am going to trade my adapter and a good 2gb card for a Saturn to somebody else in my state, he really wants one, and I really want this new technology to be "it" you know? I figure I'll just hold onto my 32gb card and eventually buy one of these devices from somebody when the tech matures.
So yeah, I can relate on being frustrated that it is not the best thing compatibility-wise.

Yes, there are even Dev Box bios's you can use, but the biggest one right now is Dreamshell, as it is a full operating system, much like windows on PC is, and it allows you to already boot games from a front-end.
The guy making this thing though said there needs to be a special iso image that is the front-end that browses for all other files, but he won't be making one.
Keep in mind the only way you can use a different bios is still with a modchip however.
So a modchip could not be worked into this board. Sucks.

I also rent and sell PS2, Wii and XBOX softmod-kits and I collect DVD movies let me know what you have.
But you wouldn't really need one to play pure GDRom rips from other regions, as they can easily have a small line of code edited to make them all region free, so you can still have perfect rips of games from any region working on a stock Dreamcast with this thing.
Also, the system will play games from this without any need for a modchip, as it fully emulates the drive, making the system think nothing is different, not to mention this should also cut down on load times too, as it should load as fast as N64 carts, since it has zero moving parts, so you will truly have a quiet, faster Dreamcast now, other than having the fan still on it to cool down everything.
