Feeling hardcore today (N+)
Sweet motherfucking Jesus and Almight in the heavens and fucking Earth, I've finally beaten stage 14-4 on N+.
There are some things in gaming that make you feel like a man after you've done them, and for me this is one of them. I probably spent well over an hour and a half on this single level. For those who don't know, N+ levels usually take about 8 to 10 seconds to beat. Must have died and retried at least 350 or 400 times. After beating 24-4 and everything in between, I've taken out half of the game's 250 levels.
This game is a hardcore platformer, emphasis on HARD. If anyone likes old-school, no-frills, 2D twitch platforming and has a 360, you should get this game.

Yea that made me feel... Invincible![]()
As they say on those Bud Light commercials,
Dude.
i am the doom god
i even beat Final Doom on Insane ( right below nightmare)
that was really hard though
like damned to hell hard
Older. Not wiser.
I play N on the PC, and there are some levels that are REALLY hard. I'm trying to beat all 100 episodes on the PC, but it only saves your progress episode by episode (which is 4 levels each). Sometimes you beat two difficult levels, and the other two are so hard that it takes like 2 more hours to clear them (forget about getting all the stuff in the level)!
Annloying as sometimes I had to lose progress because I ran out of free time, considering the huge (unexpected) time requirement.

Darn, you guys play it with analog pads on XBox? If it's coded like in the PC, that's just wrong (as the guy picks up speed the longer you press on a direction). If they changed the controls so that pressing further on the analog makes him go faster and pressing slightly makes him walk slowly, then it is a different story...RadarScope1 wrote:Anyone play it with the d-pad? I modded my 360 controller (sandpaper mod + d-pad from an Xbox 1 s-type) and I find it to be better for me. 2D games just work best with a d-pad, especially twitch games like this.
